I offer one-on-one mentoring, art lessons, and advice over Discord - open to anyone who draws, from doodlers to those looking to go freelance or pro.
If interested in becoming a student with me, please send me an email at email@example.com with your Discord tag#, a few of your works, and any goals you'd like to reach!
Mentorships can help you improve your drawing skills and portfolio through personalized learning. This is especially helpful if you're feeling confused or struggling with your art, or you feel like you're missing something but don't know what.
Oftentimes, understanding a couple new concepts can make a huge difference in your work. I've always wanted to share what I've learned, and help others on their journeys as well. As your mentor, I'll show you how to access the potential in your work, with just a few changes at a time!

My teaching style involves learning through trial and error rather than a structured course of topics. So, you can draw whatever you want and ask me whatever you want - we'll take a look at your work during lessons and cover topics based on what needs improvement. This is how I taught myself to draw, and this is the learning style I wish to pass onto you!
Lessons will be over screenshare call and can be used for anything you request - feedback, demonstrations, opinions, Q&A, etc. Typically I'll spend lessons doing overpaints of your drawings and answering any questions you may have. But if you have anything else you'd like me to do, you can let me know.
Some common topics you can ask me about!
Will add as more students give me permission!
Lesson overpaint - confidence with shadows and color choice / anime style. (student chose to be anonymous)
1 - student was stuck on this drawing. 2 - my quick lesson demo. 3 - progress my student sent me after the lesson, where they applied shadows and color differently but still effectively. Putting your own spin on my lessons like this is definitely encouraged!
Lesson overpaint with @fushigi_ari on Instagram - Focusing on creating dramatic lighting and atmosphere by controlling light sources and boosting dark areas.
First, we'll start with a trial lesson! Show me some of your works. We'll review it during the lesson to see what topics you should focus on.
You can use this lesson to see my teaching style, ask any questions, and see if we're a good fit for each other.
If you decide to continue with me, you can continue with a single lesson or ongoing mentorship.
Generally I will do lessons for 1-1.5 hours each.
Simply reach out whenever you have new progress on your work or new questions to ask. This is the main way I do my mentoring, because I want to be flexible and let you work at your own pace.
Just let me know a few days in advance!
If you want to work with me more closely, we can set up a monthly system. I'm still deciding on how to conduct this (maybe a Patreon tier for this or just done separately). But let me know if interested in the following, and I'd be happy to discuss!
If you would like to have lessons delivered in a different format (for example a video recording, correction notes only, etc.) or have another idea for me, please contact me and I'll see what I can do for you!
Most of what I know is through independent learning rather than formal education, but I can share with you what I know. If there's something I'm not sure of, I will do my research as best as I can. You may judge my work by my portfolio, and feel free to contact me for any questions about my experience!
My Discord server is a place where I and other artists can share and discuss their work. I invite my students (and everyone else) to join~
